Your crown chakra is your connection to the spiritual world around you. An open, healthy crown chakra can manifest itself in empathy for others, a strong connection to your spirituality and balance between your conscious and subconscious mind. To cleanse and balance your crown chakra: Meditate. Your crown chakra is directly affected by meditation, as it is your connection to your higher self and the higher spiritual power that you believe in. Imagine a golden light surrounding the entire crown of your head, much like a halo. Feel this glow illuminate and recharge your body and your spirit as well. Allow this light to reconnect you with the world around you and to your own inner self, your own true light. Check your ego. Self-confidence and ego are not the same. Let go of your ego-driven life for an immediately healthier crown chakra. Ego is often fueled by insecurity, but true confidence comes from real self-knowledge and acceptance. Self-confidence is built by experience and knowledge. Selfless Service. Help others solely for the sake of helping others, and you will be rewarded many times over while boosting and healing your Crown Chakra. Random acts of kindness and reaching out to help others strengthens your connection to your world, one of the Crown Chakra’s purposes. Love. You can not completely love until you love yourself. Learning to love yourself for who you are is also the first step towards accepting others. Choose love, and as a result of loving, you will likely heal and balance your other chakras as well. Prayer. Prayer is a very personal and related to your own personal spiritual beliefs. Prayer does not have to be formal, prayer can be as simple as setting an intention in your daily yoga practice. Simply close your eyes and let your inner voice be your guide to discover who you are and to connect with the Universe.
